Ovulation Induction and Follicular Monitoring
Once we have agreed treatment plan we need to help ovaries of female
partner to produce eggs. Normally one egg produced each month. During
IVF Treatment we make ovaries super ovulate i.e. more eggs are produced
to enhance chances of conception. For this purpose various combinations
of medicines which are injections are used.
Once ovaries are stimulated we need to watch them carefully for size of
eggs. This is done by serial ultra sound scans. The eggs need to be
taken out on very precise moment and that is the time when we get
husband’s semen sample and actual process of fertilisation begins.
